According to this there is a chance of booking a flight to Tenerife-South on good terms. From the airport Tenerife-South take the bus line 340 and 343 (six times a day) to the airport Tenerife-North and continue your journey to El Hierro by plane (four times a day between 7.30 and 16.30 h). Alternatively you can go on by ferry: Take a taxi to the port of Los Cristianos (15 km, about 20 Euros). Three times a week ferries are leaving there for El Hierro. ...via Tenerife-North (TFN) Often the exceptionally well-priced flights are heading to Tenerife-North/"Los Rodeos". Take one of the planes of "Binter Canarias" there, awarded the "best airline of the year" two years in a row by an international jury. The airline travels from TFN to VDE and back four times a day. A while ago the Naviera Armas developed the most complicated timetable ever of the Western Hemisphere.
